BarnMate does not operate any server. We do not have analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising IDs, fingerprinting or behavioural tracking of any kind.

All data you enter in the app (horses, sessions, supplements, riders, care entries, photos, billing entries) is stored:

1. Locally on your device (via Apple's Core Data framework)
2. Synced through your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit framework, automatically and at no cost to you)

We never see this data. Apple never gives us access to it.

If you choose to share a group with a co-rider or owner using the in-app Invite feature, BarnMate uses Apple's CloudKit Sharing.

• Invitations are bound to the recipient's Apple ID.
• Shared data is exchanged directly between your iCloud account and the invited user's iCloud account via Apple's infrastructure.
• BarnMate has no visibility into the contents of the share.
• You can revoke access at any time from the in-app share management screen, which deletes the invitation server-side via Apple.

Subscription and lifetime purchases (Solo and Share tiers, monthly / yearly / lifetime) are processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework.

• Apple handles your payment, billing and receipt validation.
• BarnMate only receives a non-identifying flag indicating whether your Apple ID currently holds an entitlement for one of our products.
• We do not see your name, email, payment method or transaction history.

If you grant notification permission, BarnMate schedules local notifications (farrier reminders, vaccine reminders, etc.) directly on your device using iOS's standard notification framework.

• No push notifications are sent from any remote server.
• No notification metadata is collected.

If you attach a photo to a horse passport or care entry, the photo is stored alongside your other app data (locally and in your iCloud). It is never uploaded to BarnMate.

BarnMate uses only first-party Apple frameworks:

• Core Data — local storage
• CloudKit (private and shared databases) — sync and sharing
• StoreKit 2 — in-app purchases
• UserNotifications — local reminders
• WeatherKit (only if you set a stable location) — weather forecast for the day view. WeatherKit calls Apple's servers; refer to Apple's WeatherKit privacy notice. No location data leaves your device beyond what is required for the single weather request.

We do not embed any third-party SDK from Google, Meta, Amazon or any other vendor.

BarnMate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The app is rated 4+ for content appropriateness only; nothing in the data flow is designed for or targeted at children.

Because BarnMate does not collect or process personal data on our end, there is no data to access, port or delete on our servers.

Your rights apply directly to:

• Your iCloud account — managed by you in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud. You can disable BarnMate iCloud sync at any time.
• Your in-app data — deleted by uninstalling the app or using the in-app Delete demo data / Delete all data options.

Data lives on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you keep it. We do not retain anything ourselves.

Since we do not collect data, there are no international transfers performed by BarnMate. Apple's iCloud may transfer your data across regions per Apple's own policy.

If we ever change this policy, we will update the Last updated date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
