Delete your BarnMate Pro account

This page explains how to delete your BarnMate Pro account and its data, what is erased and what is kept.
From the app
- 01Open Settings › My account & app › My account.
- 02Tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent, on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Without the app
No longer have access to the app? Email contact@barnmate.app from your account's email address, with the subject “Delete my BarnMate Pro account”. We delete the account within 30 days at most and confirm by email.
What is deleted
Your account: email address, name and sign-in methods (Apple, Google, email code).
The stables you own and everything in them: horses and their photos, health records and attachments, feeding, schedule, team, competitions, ideas and projects.
Your access to other managers' stables.
Your BarnMate Pro subscription entitlement.
What is kept
Other managers' stables: what you entered there (sessions, care, ideas, comments) and the record they created in your name stay in their stable, which belongs to them.
Your subscription: deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. Apple, Google and our payment provider RevenueCat keep the purchase history for their accounting obligations.
A Founder licence still counts among the places sold, but is no longer linked to anyone.
Technical server backups are erased within 7 days at most.
Delete part of your data
You can also delete data without deleting your account: a horse, a care entry, an attachment, a member or a whole stable can be deleted from the app.
The BarnMate app (half-lease) has no account: its data lives in your iCloud and is deleted with the app.
